Name:  California Croton (Croton californicus)

Family:  Spurge (Euphorbiaceae)

Flowering Season: Much of year (March - November)

Notes:  Native perennial to about 3 feet in height; silver-green in appearance due to stellar, scale-like hairs. The small flowers are unisexual, with female and male flowers on separate plants (dioecious).
