Notes: A dainty, native sub-shrub, it has a clever way of attracting pollinators to the correct flowers. Beginning yellow, after pollination the flowers turn an orange color. Honeybees are not attracted to orange the way they are to yellow, so it keeps them from wasting time on flowers that have been visited. Grows to 3 feet.
