Starting February 2020 for ten weeks Tuesday evening classes and Saturday field trips in the Park.
Our docent-naturalists lead both school children and adults on hikes throughout our park. This class covers an overview of natural world topics: Ecological Concepts, Geology, Botany, Invertebrates, Amphibians and Reptiles, Mammals, Birds, Canyon History, and training on how to be a docent-naturalist.
If you love Pasadena’s Eaton Canyon Park, if you want to learn a lot more about our natural world, and you would like to share your love of nature with children and adults, either as a docent or volunteer, this is your class.
For more information, call the Nature Center (at the end of January 2020) at (626) 398-5420 or just drop in.
Tuition includes one year membership in Eaton Canyon Nature Center Associates and docent manual.
Offered by Eaton Canyon Nature Center Associates, a non-profit support group of Eaton Canyon Park and Nature Center, a park of the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation.
